You want to know what's painful to shop for (err.. purhcase) right now? Gas... Seriously, $3 a gallon is madness. And I have to pay another $60 in a couple weeks to buy my parking pass for the school lot (which is already over crowded). Not to mention I need to go school clothes shopping and buy new supplies for my tutoring business. It's madness, pure madness...

Yeah . . .
I'm going to shopping tomorrow with my sister. I'm going to pick up my flat panel monitor and get my computer set up. I've also got to get some other things.

Well, I have yet to start buyin' gas since I can't drive yet so I'm in the clear for now on that. I wanna go shoppin' to get a CD and some nailpolish though. I love nailpolish...especially the funky colors like blue and purple. And there's some books I wanna look into gettin' too though I don't know when I'll be able to go shoppin' and get all that...

Probably by the time you start driving, though, it'll be up to $5 a gallon. When you travel 10 hours from home, though, it really drills into your pocketbook.

I figured the gas prices would be up there within a year or so.
I used to go to Hot Topic a lot, but meh... I'm kinda out of that stage.

That's a freaky store. I've never been in it, though.

Haha. It's actually not that bad in there, but just watch out for some of the people who go in there heh heh. Sometimes, I go in there dressed in bright colors on purpose.

I discovered that my backpack is ripping and won't zip or unzip, so now I have to find a backpack and I'm hoping I can get the same one like I have.

I've been in Hot Topic twice...never bought anything and it creeped me out. I want a new backpack...mine's just got a single strap and it sometimes hurts my lower back when it's got a text book or two in it.

And that's not good for you, either. C/C Star. I was so mad when I pulled mine out of the closet debris. I love that bag *sniff*

I need to get a new backpack, too. The bottom on my old one is pretty ripped up and I had to duct tape it up during the school year.

Some of the nicest clerks I've ever had worked at Hot Topic. I don't know why; it seems like the one that is out where I live is quite a nice store (despite the whole morbid/eccentric theme to everything). I don't usually go there b/c there's not much for me to purchase in there, but they do have occasionally have some good merchandise. I'd say when you've come to the point of duct-taping anything, it's time to go shopping.

Why? Duct tape fixes everything and perfectly acceptable in society.

I hate to destroy your pre-conceived notions of duct-tape, Nova, but it does not salvage all... I'm afraid my chemistry textbook, which had seen the likes of Kennedy's assassination and the fall of the Berlin Wall, could not be recovered even with many rolls of duct tape after the binding had fallen off and all the pages tore off the adhesive. It was a tragedy among tragedies, to be sure.
