lol yeah.
I was very disappointed with the movie. It wasn't exactly true to the book. The basic plotline was, but there were some important things left out, and it was rushed.

That's the problem with making a movie from a book, though. Lord of the Rings was the same way in a lot of ways. They stuck with the initial plot, but they skipped quite a few things, and got other things wrong.

To some degree the Harry Potter movies are like that too. They take out some stuff, but at least they stick with important scenes, so it doesn't bother me as much.

Okay, now it's official...I went to see Eragon tonight, and I totally agree with what Jup has been saying. The movie was barely 2 hours long (not even close, really) and it was so low budget that they couldn't even give Arya pointy ears even though she was an elf. They did a good job on Saphira's looks, but that's really the only thing I can give them credit for. Out of five stars, I give this a two and only if you haven't read the books already (1 1/2 with reading). I'm not normally a big movie critic, but this one really ruffled my scales (yeah, yeah, bad joke, I know )

There were several times that I wanted to just walk out because it was so bad, but I had already paid the six bucks for it, so I sat there tolerating it and praying it would get better. (that, and my younger brother was sitting beside me and my mother was behind me, so I couldn't just walk out. This is why I go and see movies alone, though I haven't walked out on one yet. Can't say I haven't thought about it a few times, though...)

I got it for Christmas, but I haven't had a real chance to see it. Maybe I'll watch it tonight after I catch up with all my PS2 playing that I haven't done since I've gotten back home and can't do once I go to college. (you know you're getting old when you don't have enough time to play video games anymore )

Me 'n the fam just watched this movie called the Gridiron Gang. It was really good. It's about these guys in a juvenile delinquent center...place...whatever it's called o.o; and this guy sets up a football program to help show them that they can make something of themselves.

Memoirs of a Geisha was awesome! I finally got to watch the whole thing, and usually when I try to I get interrupted, but not this time!
