What's your all-time favourite Legend of Zelda game? My favourite is definitely Ocarina of Time. Heh, I love playing even though I've beaten it about 100 times and know where everything is. I still love to sit down and play it. It's a great game. Perhaps that's why I typically like stories written about the game or based off of the game?

Ocarina of Time is definitely mine too! When I was younger my older brothers got that and an N64 for my dad one Christmas. I didn't actually play it until several years after that, but I loved to watch people play it..so of course when I played I had little trouble beating it, lol. Me and my twin liked it so much from just watching it be played that when we played with our stuffed animals we actually pretended they were characters from that game...and that Link had like a hundred sisters. It was funny, but of course we grew out of that as we got older, lol.

Grew out of it? Heh, I'd still do it and I'm older than you are. Yeah, I actually had beaten the game a few times before I finally bought it off of my friend. He loaned it to me for like a year. Over the course of that year I played it like everyday. Of course I loved it so much that I offered to buy it.

The anticipation of getting Ocarina of Time back then was probably the same as getting Twighlight Princess now. My younger brother is the one with the GameCube so I've never really gotten into Wind Waker, and sadly, probably won't play or see that much of Twighlight Princess. I remember watching my older brother play through the Water Temple of OoT and having a rough time against Shadow Link, and really the temple in general. It was really funny, and the best part was I knew what to expect when I finally went against it. (didn't really make it any easier, though)

Sadly, I probably won't get to see or play Twilight Princess. I'm GameCubeless. But is TP coming out on Cube? I thought it was going to be on Wii.

Sweet! You know, I'd buy a Cube if only to get Twilight Princess.

Sadly, I never thought I'd say this, but unless I get a good chunk of time to play, and my little brother lets me play, I probably won't get a chance to play it. As much as I love Zelda, it's getting too expensive to buy a new system every year to keep up with one or two series that I've grown up with. A lot of the new games don't interest me, either, and I don't like the idea of shelling out a couple hundred bucks for a system I'll barely use only to have to replaced within a year. Naw, I'll stick with the oldies and goodies.

Isn't Nintendo coming out with another game console anyway? The Revolution or something like that? I'd hate to go spend a hundred dollars on a Game Cube (even though I probably would for Zelda) and then be forced to buy another system not long after. I know I'm the dork who would, though... ;D

It was going to be called Revolution but they changed it to Wii for some reason. Really though, why be caught up with the times? I bought my N64 a couple months before GameCube came out. I've never cared too much about having the newest system. I wait until the price drops down to something I can afford. Which is why if and when I buy a Cube it'll be so I can get TP. Of course, it's almost time for the Wii to come out. See the pattern? Heh, I even still have my NES. ;D

I didn't get a Cube 'til last Christmas. Ironically I thought they weren't very good compared to an X-Box before I had one, but now it's my favorite gaming system...probably due to the fact that when I got it was when my interest in video games really grew.
I remember thinking the 'A Link to the Past' game was really fun back when I was younger and played it...anyone really like that one?

Sadly, I've never played ALP. I did watch a friend play it for about five minutes though.

I love A Link to the Past. I've been playing that game since I was a little kid. My ex bought me the GBA version of it too. Even when we broke up the game still retained its value for me. I'd have to say after OoT, ALP is my favorite Zelda game.

Were the Oracles games any good? Or Four Swords? Never played them.

I've never played Four Swords either, but the Oracle games were decent...
