The seven-year-old I baby-sit for is a spoiled brat and gets everything he wants. So, when he was mad that he lost his GameBoy Advanced SP game, he smashed the thing against the ground. His parents bought him a new one the next day. Ridiculous...

Holy guacomole. Talk about spoiled... I'm not a complete klutz...only sometimes...heh. We have an old GB somewhere...but I never really liked the games that we have on it since our bros. let someone borrow the LoZ game and they didn't return it. Battle Toads got old since I could never get past a certain level.

Buying an $80 system for a child that intentionally destroyed it? I don't knows what's sadder: the fact that they gave into him or that a Nintendo system couldn't stand up to the abuse (especially after watching what happened to the GC).
My older brother traded two of my old GB games to someone a long time ago. Needless to say I was pretty ticked.

That they gave into him is much much sadder.

One of the things that really surprised me was finding a supposedly broken PS2 at a garage sale for $10. All it needed was a bit of a cleaning. My friend has a GCN and his disks constantly come out scratched in circular patterns. I think it's because he set stuff on top of the lid, which in turn pushed on the disks while they were spinning. -_-' The thing that really peeves me tho is when my sibblings will just leave disks out on the floor or TV stand or whatever. We've lost at least three games that way...

My younger brother tends to do that, too, from time to time. That's why I don't like CD's; they're too easily messed up, and with the price being $50 a pop, it gets too expensive.
