Anyone else like to cook, like to eat what other people cook, or are not very good in the culinary department? I like to cook Kraft Mac and cheese, 'tis so good and that along with Oscar Mayer hotdogs and cottage cheese is a family favorite at my house. And, I've never caught it on fire unlike Marshmallow who has. Marshmallow can whip up some good Stove Stop stuffing though...woot for food that comes from a box! lol. Something I had trouble cooking one time was sopapillas. Cinco de mayo was comin' up and the assignment for my Spanish class was to make something, a food item...so that's what I chose thinkin' it'd be easy. I had never fried anything before in my life and my parents just so happened to have to go somewhere come time for me to stick the dough in the oil and...after burning the first three, the sopapillas turned out decently but come the end of it I found that the whole downstairs part of my house was filled with smoke, lol. My class ate almost all of 'em so I'd say my cookin' skills pulled through for me enough. ;D

I cook like my mother...TV dinners and anything else that's microwavable. I don't know about my older brother, but my younger brother likes to cook now and again. My step-father does most of the cooking, though.
To the most part, I'll eat anything someone cooks, but I absolutely DO NOT like Flan. I've had it twice, and both times I couldn't eat more than a bite of it (the first one was at a society activity at school and the second time was while I was in France). There are foods that I wouldn't eat as a kid that I'll eat now, but I don't think I'll ever develop a taste for Flan.

I've never had Flan...or a TV dinner (well, I don't think I have...). o.o; My stepmom is an awesome cook though. I especially love her Jambalaya and this other thing where she cooks hamgurber patties and cream of chicken in a crockpot and YUM!!! That stuff is good...and the best thing about those are, they go super good with cottage cheese! At least in my opinion, lol. ;D
My oldest brother was famous amongst my fam for his chicken alfredo (*shudders* I never have liked that stuff no matter who cooks it) and then my second oldest brother can whip up some good things too, so long as he doesn't burn them in the process, lol.

I was only in 3rd grade when I caught the stove on fire... Well, like blondie said I can make stovetop stuffing. I am also quite good at making instant mashed potatoes. lol. Oh, and I can make cereal too!

I think I like chicken alfredo, but I don't have it often enough to know. The stove and oven are pretty taboo with me, so I stay away from them.
A TV dinner is basically a full meal that can be stuffed into the microwave. You can find them in the grocery store freezer aisle.

I know what they are, lol, I've just never had one before. I don't like ovens because I'm paranoid of getting burned, but I'll still use it if I have to. Garlic bread is always fun to make, especially when you smother it in cheese in butter (and garlic of course)and then toast it in the oven. Occassionally I'll cook up some hamurger helper or spaghetti. Browning the meat is a pain when it hasn't thawed all the way. Ugh...I think my arms get a decent workout just trying to break it up enough so that it'll cook faster while it's in the pan. Lately I haven't to do that though, so whoo-hoo!

Well, you said you didn't think you had had TV dinners, so how was I supposed to know you knew what they were? I love both hamburger helper and spaghetti, especially with some type of cheese on them. I've never tried garlic bread like that; maybe I will sometime. It's actually been a while since I've had all three.

They're good, but they're gone in about four or five bites for me (well, a half of one, anyways ).

I like whipping up some tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. I learned a long time ago that if you turn the stove to a high setting it's very easy to burn the bread...lol. I usually have to eat two though..those things really do go down quickly. I can easily just run it off though

Yeah, tomato soup is good with grilled cheese, but there's a restaurant that I go to that I get a bowl of chili. That place has very good chili and pies.

*twitch* Chili is ok...so long as all it consists of is meat and sauce. My dad makes good chili, but I rarely eat it because not only does he put beans in it, but tomatoes too and usually I sit there picking out the meat and fritos. Last time he made it though he and my stepmom bought a can of chili that consisted of the meat stuff I like (just for me! ) so it was all good. ;D Well, technically I'm supposed to be avoiding sweets during CC season, but my stepmom made a cherry pie Monday night and I had a piece. Normally I'm not too big on the fruit filling stuff, but since there was icecream, I made an exception.

Our dad's chilli is just good? JUST GOOD? His chili is by golly g whillickers AWESOME! If ever I was stuck on a deserted island, and I got to pick 1 type of food to eat at every meal I would choose my dad's chili! Blondie's just a weirdo. And besides beans are the musical fruit. Albeit that is kinda gross...heh...heh... Aww...yes...ze cherry pie. I love pie. ;D

I say life is too short to skip sweets, training regimen or not (granted, with sports you should have moderation), and that's probably the reason why I don't like sports. Ah well, that's just my opinion... I really don't care what's in the chili, as long as it isn't super spicy. I'd rather have good taste than have it burn my insides. I'll eat cherry pie, and I like it, but it's not my favorite pie. The three pies that I have grown to love is blueberry, lemon merangue, and banana cream. I don't usually have ice cream on my pies, either, though my mom does, but I love whip cream (obviously that would only really apply to the blueberry since the rest already have stuff on top of them). For my birthday, we don't go with the traditional cake, but we use either blueberry pie or cheesecake!

My favorite pie of all time would have to be...uh...hm...that's hard, but my favorite type of fruit pie would have to be apple cinammon. That stuff is mmmm mmm good. I've never been a big blueberry fan, although I do like them in muffins. The only type of banana flavor stuff I really enjoy are actual bananas, and sometimes I even just have to force myself to eat 'em if they're not ripe enough, or they're just a bit to ripe past the point I like 'em. Well, we haven't exactly gone COMPLETELY off of sweets, but we only get them every now and then...like tonight we had ice cream, but we also don't race again for another week. I'm not a spicy fan either, but usually I put a hunkin' huge bite of chili in my mouth, and then realize it's too hot so I burn my tongue...heh...you would think I'd've learned by now...
