XD My grandmother believes in tossing salt over your shoulder to keep evil spirits away... O.o I don't know where she got that one from...

My mom does that one a lot. She never remembers which shoulder, though, so she tosses it over both.

lol...;D That sounds like something I would do...I tend to be very forgetful about little details. I found a penny today, and it was on tails! But I didn't pick it up, cuz I was getting ready to go run and had no where to put it. *sigh* I could be a whole penny richer right now...

Actually I told you not to pick it up because I didn't want you tripping while we were on the run. lol.

You just hold the penny in your hand the whole time. See, what you do in that situation is pick up the penny while going into a roll, and then push yourself up before you stop rolling to end back up on your feet, where you continue running (at least, that works in theory )

I'm with Blondie; I'd much rather squash any bug that comes across my path.

I used to rip them out of their cocoons when I was little. I was so cruel wasn't I?
in Japan, the number 4 symbolizes death. That kinda scared me because when I played softball, my number was 4 and it's always been my lucky number, too.

Uhm... my mom had a cardiac arrest and had to quite her job and somebody hit my car and refuses to pay damages so I have to sue her in civil court. Does that count as bad luck? lol. Looking back on that, it's totally destroyed the cheerful mood hitherto. But hey, open the door, I walk through. Oh, and I'm not really superstitious.

Sorry that all that stuff happened to you, Mira.
Today is (or I guess, was, since it's almost over) Friday the 13th. I'm not really superstitious, but even I have a twinge of hesitantancy to do anything major on these days.

Actually, I didn't have any bad luck... I was in the auditorium all day for the play competition deal... but we did have to wait almost 2 hours for the results... and we were there for 12 hours...

Waiting in one place for 12 hours? I don't know...sounds pretty unlucky to me.
