Is there anyone big on superstition? Believe in lucky charms like a rabbit's foot (Bad luck for the rabbit, but good luck for you! lol), black cats being a source of bad luck, or the whole breakin' a mirror thing? Or anything else? Possibly something out there to poke fun at? I'm not necessarily much of the superstitious type...but there are times when I get paranoid and 'see' quick movements out of the corner of my eye. I've never had much of a lucky charm though last summer I think it was, or the one before that, my brother bought a bracelet thing, one for each of my sisters and me, and though it was a cheap thing...it was labeled as being made by 'ghost beads' and to supposedly ward off evil spirits. I've still got it and I wore it all the time for quite a while...I like the bracelet but I don't like wearing jewelry all the time so now I keep it stored in my dresser drawer next to my bedside. I had a friend who was real big on horoscopes too. I was never much into 'em but oh well.

I dunno.
'tis unfortunate to meet a left-handed person on a Tuesday, but it is fortunate to meet one any other day of the week.

Ummm...I'm definately not the superstitious type, but I do know a few. Like when you spill salt you have bad luck, and you have to toss it over your sholder or something to get rid of it.

Breaking mirrors is the funniest thing to be superstitious about. XD My sister broke two and hasn't really had any bad luck at all. Not anything major, anyway.
But she used to be terrified to say the number 13...

Just to say the number? o.O Well, speaking of 13, anyone happen to be superstitious about Friday the 13th? I always seem to have some really bad luck a day or two before that time...lol.

I used to love walking under ladders to prove it wasn't bad luck. One time I did end up falling flat on my face... but no one other than my sister was there - but she made sure that everyone else knew about it! Come to think of it I havent walked under one since ;D

One of these days I bet you'll end up with lots of paint dropped on your head, then we'll see just how lucky you really are. lol.

I saw a penny on tails today on the ground when I was out running. I didn't stop to pick it up because I figured I didn't want to risk bad luck even if it was just a superstition, lol. Marshmallow is usually one to pick up the shiny stuff though, regardless of heads or tails. o.O

Yeah, I can believe that. I haven't heard of any really good superstitions lately. Not since last week at least.

I'm not really superstitious at all. I've heard pretty much all the ones, but most of them I don't believe that much. If I see a coin on the ground I'll grab it, I try not to break any mirrors, I used to walk under ladders as a kid (although I don't that that much anymore), I don't care if a black cat crosses my path, etc., etc.
I suppose there are times when something really jolting happens to me I might consider it bad luck, but mainly it's just because I'm very pessimistic so I tend to see everything as something bad waiting to happen.

Yay! I'm not the only one who picks up coins! ;D I think one Friday the 13th back in the day, I wore a penny in my shoe cuz one of my buds said it would keep the bad luck away.
