Well, what is it about the writing world that appeals to you?
Personally I enjoy the satisfactory feeling I get every time I finish a chapter and am able to post it to ffnet, but hopefully one of these days onto original fiction that I'm slowly beginning to make a transition over to.
Not only that, but writing is a challenge that I enjoy undertaking because it really pushes me to come up with all kinds of crazy stuff that could really take the story on some awesome twists. Plus, the more I write now, the better I'll (hopefully) get when I'm older and I'll hopefully be able to pursue a writing career, at least on the sidelines of some other career I choose to go after.

I like to get lost in my own little world and run away from reality every now and then. Plus, I like create a whole bunch of different characters with different flaws and traits. That's probably my most favorite part of writing. When I write, I get this awesome feeling like it's something I was meant to do or something. If that makes any sense.

Well, I like it cuz I can get my thoughts (and sometimes weirdness) down on paper/computer and form 'em into some sort of story.

I like to let go and be who I want to be when I write. While it might not seem like it's any different to the normal me, it actually allows me to do what I want to characters. It's not like real life. It's not "what was done is done and can't be changed" until you get it up and published. And then you can manipulate characters to do what you want! ;D It's like having a virtual Dolly house! ;D

I like to write because it allows me to free my soul. My story, in essence, is my life and my soul; that's why I take it so seriously (and writing, too, for that matter).
I tend to take real life people and circumstances and either write them how I see them, or twist them to the way I wish it could be. I guess it's kind of an escape from reality for me. At the same time, I voice everything I can't "properly" say in the real world.
