So, can anyone else play any instruments? Or is there a certain instrument that you really want to be able to play? I can play the piano, guitar, and bass guitar. Mostly I play piano. I've even managed to write a few songs too. If I had to choose one instrument to play it would probably be the harp. I love the way it sounds. It's so soothing and relaxing. I would love to be able to play the harp.

Well, I did play the clarinet...I suppose I used to be decently good since I was first chair and all...but once I quit band (partly due to the band director and mostly due to the fact I didn't want it interferring with sports) I didn't touch it much.

I used to play clarinet and piano. I quit piano when I was seven. I didn't really like to practice and I didn't like my teacher. I played clarinet for three years, but then I quit because the same reasons as blondie's.
But I have really taken an interest in playing the guitar.

I piddle with instruments. I can plunk around on the piano, I picked up a flute for about a month while I was in fourth grade but dropped it rather quickly, and currently I'm experimenting with the Ocarina and Lap Harp. Out of the two of those, I used to be practice the Ocarina and got pretty good at it, but I haven't had the time recently. My minor in college is Music, mainly in voice, though.

Back in the day, I played the flute. But then, like Blondie, I quit band for pretty much the same reasons. However, I do pick it up every now and then and play some...even though it is startin' to get kinda rusty...heh...I think the last time I played it was a month ago. I'm such an instrument neglecter.

Like everybody else, I used to play instruments. I took piano lessons for about three years, played the clarinet for one, and I also tinkered around with a recorder (if that even counts as an instrument). I kind of regret not sticking with the clarinet, but if I were ever to pick up an instrument again, I'd like to learn how to play the sax. I remember when I originally joined band that was the instrument I wanted to play, but my parents discouraged me from it, so I played clarinet... bad choice, I guess. Parents.

Wow, you people. I bet you've hurt your intruments's feelings. Heh, I haven't really been playing that long. Probably only been playing the piano for about three or four years. I took lessons for around two years. My mom made me take them after I thought myself how to play the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. I've probably played guitar for around the same as piano and within the last two years I started on the bass guitar. It's fun though. I love music.

I wish I could play piano...but apparently I'm not wanting of that talent enough or else I could just ask my stepmom to teach me...I love the sound of piano music though. ^.^

Both the piano and the sax are great instruments to listen to if they're played well. It all depends on the situation for me.

I knew someone who could play the sax. I don't know if she ever kept up with it but she used to be pretty good.

Does being able to play Mary had a Little Lamb count as being able to play the piano? lol... That, and the beginning of Ode to Joy I can play from memory. I can also play a few simple tunes like Jingle Bells if I have a book, but that's it. Never played nor wanted to play a sax, but that's just me. Although, it is a cool instrument.

I had a toy harmonica at one point, although I never really learned how to use it. I think that would be a fun instrument, and it's pretty cool to listen to, too. If I was motivated enough, though, I might try the guitar. The problem that I have with all instruments is that I have two left hands.

And what is wrong with having two left hands? I guess I kind of have an advantage in the music department. My father plays guitar and has been for like 30 years. My mother, and all of my sisters, sing pretty well. My mum also used to play the mandolin. My older sister plays the piano, had some years of lessons, and guitar. My younger sister play the piano some and the guitar a little bit. Heh.
