Okay, if you haven't noticed some new things have been added recently. I'm betting more content will added as time goes on. Something I'm playing with the idea of is having a site for this forum. Here's the idea:
I'd set up a site that would contain links to all members's stories, short decriptions for the story, profiles for the authors, things of that sort. This all, of course, if you want a 'profile' on the site.
Obviously, more content is needed so any and all ideas are welcome.

I think that'd be cool, though at this time I have no other ideas to contribute to it.

Well, I don't know what the focus of the site is, but you could provide fanart in addition to fanfiction. If it was an all-around Zelda website, you could also offer character profiles, game synopses, "what character are you most like?" quizzes, polls, etc. Just throwing some ideas out there.

I agree with Mira, but you have to have something unique, too. Something that will make it stand out from all the other sites just like it. I'm not sure what it is, but I'll keep thinking.

Great idea. However, for such content to exist I'd have to ask some of you to help make it. Anyway, since everyone seems to want to go ahead with a site I'll get to working on it soon. And, just so you know, it's not going to be anything fancy. Just a free website maker thing. Definitely, Nova. We'll have to come up with something.

I used to work for a few zelda sites so I have some item guides, song guides, manual scans and other bits written up, so if you ever need content like that I'll gladly share, although game content always takes a while to prepare ><

Okay, since it looks like we'll be having a website I need some opinions. Would geocities or freewebs be better to use to make the site? I have experience using freewebs so that would be easier for me. EDIT: I'm allowed to double post.

I tried using geocities to make my own website before, but I ended up switching to Tripod becuase it was easier for me to use. I've never tried freewebs, but I'm going to have to soon b/c I ran out of space on my tripod page. (I'm linking the two separate pages together). I'll let you know when I start working with freewebs (providing I start before you. )

Yeah, I noticed that you ran out of space. How is tripod?

Tripod's fairly reliable. I found it to be more "user-friendly" than geocities, but the ads are a lot worse. For a long time, I couldn't even access my own page online because my computer would freeze because of the ads. Then again, you get more space on Tripod than you do on geocities. (20 mb=tripod, 15 mb=geocities). I think what really swallowed up my data space were all the scans I made of pics I drew.
Tripod has a lot more design layouts than geocities too. I remember when I went to use geocities, and I wanted a pre-set format, the designs offered were unattractive and cliche. Tripod offers a greater number of colors, formats, and designs, so you can pick and choose. Tripod, however, doesn't allow you to move pics around freely. The pages are set in templates, and you had to stick pics where they would allow you to. You could center them, align them to the left and right, but in geocities, you could click on an image and move it around freely. I wouldn't recommend the clipart from either tripod or geocities. They both offer the same poor quality clips that you would expect from a free web service.

Hm . . . well, I guess because I have some experience with it I'll be using freewebs. It nice, easy to use, got some great features. If memory serves, it has 40MB of space, which is way more than the others.

Here's a little something I just whipped up. Not much yet but I'll get some work done . . . eventually. Had to keep with the book theme too.

Nifty. I made a website using freewebs and set it as my homepage on fanfiction; although it's under some construction. I like this idea.
