They're not that bad, but that twist in the fourth book made me so mad! >.<

You really make me anticipate finishing Wolfcry Jupi...lettin' me borrow it and all, lol. There's supposed to be another book in the series after it but since I haven't come across this twist yet I have yet to make my judgement on whether or not it would be a good one that could lead to better possibilities in the following book or if it's just bleh.

If there's going to be another book, and if it's going to focus on a certain wolf.... I may not read it....

I understand what you mean by what you said about Wolfcry. I read it with the intention of seeing if I could find light in whatever it was you thought was wrong with it but there's no hope. That ending was just...weird...and Marshie finished it too and wasn't happy. I miss the good ole days of Danica and Zane's fiery romance amidst the prejudice and war torn world. *sigh* I'm eager to see what persepective Wyvernhail is going to be from though...but it doesn't come out 'til Fall 2007 if what Wikipedia says is to be trusted.

C'mon, Blondie, don't give anything away! I still haven't had a chance to pick 'em up yet.

I'm waiting to see what the next book is going to be about and how it is before I give up on the series.

I just got done reading "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti. I have it in a large novel with his next one, "Piercing the Darkness" and I'm going to start that one eventually. I bought a couple of new books a few days ago. I haven't really looked much into them, though, so I can say anything about them yet.
Has anybody seen the Limited Edition of Eldest? I think they just released it, but the cover is slightly different than the other one. It's got gold on it instead of being entirely red, but the biggest differences is the exerpt from the third book, which I believe is called "Gladr", or something like that. It has a fold out picture of the next book, which is a gold dragon. I just skimmed the exerpt, but it looks to be interesting. I was going to buy the book, but I already had the older one and I had marked in it so I couldn't just give it away. I don't know when it'll come out, but I can't wait.

Hmm the last Harry Potter book should be out in the next year or so... not that I'll probably read it since I'm burned out on HP, but it would be nice to know who supposebly dies.

I've seen the limited edition of Eldest but I'm content with the edition I have. I'm eager for the third book to come out though. Currently I'm reading a book called The Purple Emperor which is a sequel to this book called Faerie Wars...and I love it so far. ^.^

I got done with "Piercing the Darkness" a few days ago and I started on "the Da Vinci Code". I've heard all the ruckus it started, and I decided that I would check what the thing is about when I had the time. I'm about 100 pages in, and it's pretty good, writing-wise anyway. The content hasn't gotten to any of the controversial stuff to the most part; I'm still trying to figure out who is what. I highly recommend reading it, but have a discerning mind when you do so.

I love Piercing the Darkness, but I've never read the DaVinci Code. I've gotten mixed reviews from friends and family who read the book. I'm just not that interested in it to pick it up and give it a go.
I'm reading A Lesson before Dying right now, by Ernest Gaines. It's about this black man who is going to be electrocuted because he is accused of robbing and killing a white store owner. It reminds me a lot of To Kill a Mockingbird, but it's written by a contemporary author. I think the book was published in 1993... I'm not completely sure. Definitely recommend it though.

DaVinci Code is definitely a page turner. You never know who's on which side, and he keeps changing plot points so you have to keep reading to find out what happened. Once he's done with one scenario, you're knee deep in another one, and by the time you're done with that one you're into another one. So, yeah, he keeps it interesting.
He also brings out arguments that could be considered legitimate if they were true. I'm sure more than one person has thought about it, but he's the one that's actually said it out loud.
I'm currently reading "Wicked". I bought the soundtrack today, which I'm really pumped about.

A friend of mine loaned me this book called 'Daughter of the Forest' by Juliet Marillier. So far it's proven to be quite a good read. ^.^
