These are teenage guys we're talking about here. Of course they aren't going to do any of the work. Give 'em about five or six more years and once they hit the first few years of college they might mature (I'm talking from experience here )

Jupiter, give em more than ten years. And that's from a college girl's perspective.

Hey, Mira, cut some of us a little slack! I've made pretty good progress in the last six years or so (I'll admit that I've got a ways to go, though...)

I have a presentation due tomorrow. It's short, but I haven't done that much with it, though. I'll work with it for a couple of hours and that should do it.

I've got a presentation thingy due too, but not 'til this coming Wednesday. o.O It's over the 1910-1920s decade in the US and I got stuck with fine arts. o.O *sigh* He said we have to memorize what we're going to say, thoroughly know our topic, and/or we can use notecards along the way but...I'm not looking forward to this.

I did my presentation today. I did okay, but I could've done better, I think. I hate standing up in front of people; I'm beginning to wonder why I wanted to become a teacher in the first place. It's not nearly as easy as it looks from the student's perspective.
I bombed an education test a couple days back. A different teacher is covering the class this year than normal, but he's still using the old material and the other teacher's tests are tough. If I had known that before, I would've studied much, much harder. Oh well, I'll just have to make it up next time.

That stinks. I have to go to school early tomorrow and make up a couple of tests I missed in Biology, and today I had to give three speeches... I'm beginning to wonder why I even got interested in speech... Acting never worries me, but giving a speech is a totally different thing. o.o

Speech is definitely different than acting. I'm quite your opposite, Jupiter. Speeches are no problem for me, but acting is my worst nightmare. I avoid drama classes at all costs. I'm working hard away in school right now. I teach my first class at the end of the term. I'm a little nervous, but I'm also excited. If anyone could tell from the feminism debate, women's studies is my expertise so my lecture will be on women in American history. Hopefully, my presentation will be successful. In the meantime, I'm putting together a huge career portfolio (which I doubt anyone will look at in the future) and keeping extremely busy (thus, I'm never on the forum). I'm hoping things will settle down in the next month or two, but I doubt that since the holidays aren't really that far away. Well, glad to see everyone's working hard at school. I guess that's about all I can say.

I'm a bit of an actor, though I haven't done anything in a long time. I'd rather act things out or something like that just for fun rather than get up in front of people and talk.
This week is pretty easy for me. I just got done with a test today, which wasn't too bad. I have three quizzes on Friday, but other than that I'm in the clear. Hopefully, I'll get some other stuff done that I need to.

We had a homecoming assembly it was extremely boring. I guess the theme was jazz and I was pretty upset because they only had the jazz band playing and I was hoping to hear the whole marching band. Some seniors did a skit and two of them were acting as the principle and vice principle. I thought it was pretty funny
