I agree to an extent; last one flew by pretty quickly. It varies from week to week.

How do you have finals this week? When did you guys start?
We had preregistration today; I'm three credits short of being able to live in the dorms so I have to pick an electives class. I was thinking about taking Novels and that way I would have my afternoons open for Monday, Wed., and Fridays, but I was also thinking about taking Modern Cults and then auditing History of Music 2. Decisions, decisions...

We have three trimesters, which are all 12 weeks each. We started on August 21 and the trimester end is this Thursday, and on Wednesday finals are for 2, 4, and 5 hour and Thursday finals are for 1 and 3 hour and then we're off on Friday. It's pretty weird o.o and it has seemed to make my school years go by a lot slower.
Good luck on making a decision lol.

I actually learned that if I audited a class, I get half the credits added to the workload, although I don't get the actual credit on my transcript. That's not a big deal because I took it for a summer class, but I was the only student in the class, so I want to audit it to hear the discussions. The audit pushes me just far enough that I could take a two credit instead of needing a three credit, so I went with Choral Conducting as an elective, and it fits in well with my minor. So I guess, all in all, it all works out.
It might be a moot point, though, if I don't pass Instructional Techniques. Because if I don't pass that, it would just push me back another year, so it would be pointless to come back next semester. I'd most likely transfer to a community college and get a Business Associate. I don't really want to do that, though, since I've worked so hard to get where I am right now, so I need to work my butt off to make this happen.

I got done with some reading yesterday for a class, which was kind of major since I needed it to more or less pass the class. I still have one more section of reading to do, but it's not due until early December, so I've got time. I've got a paper due by 5 tomorrow, and I started on it a couple hours ago. I'm such a procrastinator that's not even funny. Good news is that I'm about half-way done, though, so after I get done taking a break, I'll finish it up. Yeah, good time, good times...

I have to do a movie for one of my projects for my video editing class. We're doing a spoof on the "Saw" movies, so it's going to be pretty interesting...

*Is exhausted* Last friday we finished our 13th exam for the term. 5 of those were for our School Certificate and the rest were Finals. I'm SO glad we only have another 3 or 4 weeks left before the summer holidays! I need all the rest I can get before starting Senior School... I'm kinda anxious as to what to expect with my classes for the next two years. Since I had to make up 12 units, I hope I made the right choices... Legally, we haven't started our Year 11 Preliminary Studies, but our English teacher kinda started it secretly. We've already chosen our 5 texts for the next two years and I still have to finish the last one from this years... *sigh* I don't know if I'm gonna work up the motivation to read the novel or not. I guess I should... I have two weeks to finish it. My ICT teacher is at it AGAIN! I've been asking her for help for two damn months and she wonders why my assignment is a month and a half overdue! The woman is hopeless! We have to design a fully-functional robot that will travel to Mars for NASA scientists... she says its easy but don't have a clue what she's on about. I think shes the only one that does. Not to mention I have to do a PowerPoint presentation with it and I can't do that until I finish my design. *sigh* I guess I'll ask her for help again tomorrow. I have a short essay due in English about... oh... two weeks ago? I'm really getting behind with my work. The exams scared me to a point where my brain literally ceased to function on my classwork, and now look at all the catch-up I have to do. *sigh* The essay isn't hard, but the prompt is crappy. It's on the Merchant of Venice... about God only knows what. Something about sentimentality, gainful advantage, and basing a friendship on a need to be kept. Or something like that. Other than that, there's not really much going on. Oh, except over the last weekend my grade dropped from 113 people to 26 people... XD They either took an extended holiday or droped out. Not many of us stay behind after the School Certificate. *reads over* Wow, that's a long one... Longest thing I think I've posted for a while.

I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and think about casual stuff for a change. These last two weeks have been murder on my system. I was fighting a cold during Thanksgiving Break, but I also had to work on a project that would make or break my grade in a class. I did the project last Monday and got a pretty decent grade on it, enough to stabilize my grade anyways. I had a few bigger reading assignments due Friday and another one this Wednesday, but I was glad to be able to relax this last week. Only two more before I'm home free. (literally)

I signed out of school for the extended holiday that everyone else seemed to take. I could not STAND one more lesson of pointless, mind-numbing busy-work!
YAY! I got 9 weeks off now!

Aw, lucky duck. In a week and a half I'll have two weeks of vacation and that's it. I don't know how I'm getting through school. Algebra 2 is a pain because of the work and we've had to use these stupid graphing calculators all week and I have my chapter 2 test Monday that I'm not looking forward to. I took the ACT today...and got the first bloody nose of my life. It wasn't bad thank goodness and I didn't even realize it til break time when Marshie said I had a big red dot on my nose, lol. History homework is driving me up the wall. Everyday this week I've had at least an hour's worth of homework and I've been gettin' some h/w from my english class too. Ugh...I feel like I could go on overload without these weekends to save me some time, though tomorrow I'm gonna be doin' homework all day long since I wasn't home today.
