I know, the temple was just so long it was like a virtual maze.

I don't know how people found the Water Temple hard. The first time I played OoT I admit I used a guide on some temples but the Water Temple was oddly not one of them. It's all just a matter of searching for the keys, once you have them all it's straight forward.
I guess the hardest for me was Spirit, I didn't find any extremely hard though.

I think it was more of the backtracking in the Water Temple that made it so confusing at times Plus, if you didn't finish it in one sitting, it was hard to figure out what to do next. At least, that's the way I see it. The Spirit Temple wasn't really hard construction-wise, but it took a little bit to figure out how to battle the Iron Knuckles effectively. At first my brothers and I used Nayru's Love and went in there like gangbusters, but eventually we adopted the good ol' hit-and-run approach.

It was definitely all the backtracking that got me. None of the temples really seemed that hard to me. Heh, I always forgot to grab that one last key for like the first five times I beat the Water Temple. ;D

The corridor with the whirlpools was extremely frustrating to do, even with the Iron Boots. Is it possible to do it without them? I've never tried, so I don't know.

Hm . . . never tried it either. Sounds fun though. I'm always looking for ways to make the game more fun an challenging. Like, try fighting Ganon with the Iron Boots on. Or play through the game without getting any heart pieces or heart containers. That one is hard!

I prefer just to play the game without complicating things, lol. A challenge is nice but I prefer to collect what I can, though battling Ganon with the Iron Boots would actually be kinda fun. ...and probably frustrating, lol.

I don't know if I'd pick that challenge. I wouldn't even choose the challenge of going through without heart containers. If anything, I'd try going through from temple to temple without getting anything extra. I've done that before with Link to the Past.

Yeah, that's also fun to do. Go through the game getting only what you must have to beat the game. Makes things very interesting. Or, and this is a hard one, when you play Dodongo's Cavern purposefully burn your Deku Shield. Also, don't get a Hylian shield, ever. Playing through most of the game without a shield is very difficult.

I like my shield... I liked sneaking into the castle, and then getting thrown out, heh. I always liked the very first level when entering the Deku Tree only cuz it was easy. Although, the Great Deku Tree talking and going on and on and on got old. The Forest Temple was "fun"...the first time I played it I couldn't figure out where to find the arrows.

I think the Forest Temple was probably one of my favorite temples. I didn't like the Green Poe puzzle, but other than that it was one of the more enjoyable temples.

My favourites were the Shadow and Spirit. I loved the music for the Spirit Temple. Heh, I guess this should really be another topic.

I enjoyed the Water Temple, but it frustrated the hell outta me. I died SO many times trying to beat Dark Link; but I eventually figured out to use Din's Fire! ^-^ I know it's a cop-out but it worked for me As for doing the corridor with the whirlpools without the Iron Boots, it IS possible, and not really that hard. I actually found it harder to do it WITH the boots :S I've done it before - twice in all the thirty or so times I've been through it, but I'd rather not use them. My favourite was the Forest Temple But the first time I did it was when I was about ten and terrified to even go through the first door XD In fact, I was terrified to battle Ghoma in the Deku Tree -_-;; I liked Saria and Ruto the most out of all the Sages: and that discludes Zelda, cause she is obviously the ULTIMATE Sage! Anyway, I've said all I wanted to say

I've always done that whirlpool corridor without the boots, I assume it's very hard with them.

Hm . . . I've only ever done it with the boots and it isn't really that hard. I'll have to try it without them here soon so I can see which really is easier.
