I can't really remember. If I did try it, I did it only once and it was so long ago I don't remember. If I ever hook up the ol' 64 and pull out the game again, I might give it a whirl (bad pun, I know).

It's not really worth it. You'll still have a hard time. One little slip up and you'll find yourself going down the drain. I've done it enough times to know.

Even with the Iron Boots I know it's a pain. There was a path that we always followed, but even then at one certain point it was almost a certainty to get pulled in.

I hated that corridor soooo much! But another part I found difficult was the room where you had to use the hookshot to get to the other side while standing on the moving platforms. The first time I played, that drove me up the wall!

I don't remember that part too much. I guess it wasn't quite as traumatizing.

Haha. I was the only one I know who played it and had trouble with that room, anyway.

To each their own, I guess, but I think I do remember that room now that I really think about it. It might have been irritating to a certain point, but it's all in how to aim the hookshot.

I definitely know which room you are talking about because I had trouble with it too. Now, my ability to aim the bow and shoot precisely was perfected through the Gerudo horseback game in the fortress, but I never got the hang of the hookshot quite so well. I remember thinking I was perfectly aligned with one of those stupid magnet polls, and then Link would, instead, slide against the wall a couple times, stumble, then fall into the pits of darkness before magically reappearing at the door of the room again. (Convenient how these things work out, right?) It used to irritate me so much because I knew it was a fairly simple room... lol.

Heh, I didn't have too much trouble with that room. My aim is impeccable. The room that I really hated, not so much now, was the room right before the boss in the Water Temple. The steep slope with the sliding things. Yeah, first time I played it, it took me one million years to get through.

I remember all the horseback riding archery stuff. Now that used to drive me up a wall to some extent. I don't know if there was any one point of the game that really irritated me. I didn't like the creepiness of the Bottom of the Well.

*shudder* I hated the well more than the Shadow Temple. It was a little confusing the first time I did it with all the invisible floors and enemies, I just wanted to hurry up and get out of there.

Yeah, I'd rather go through the Shadow Temple than the Bottom of the Well. Bongo Bongo could be a pain at times in the temple, though. It all depended if you could get focused in quick enough on him.

The Bottom of the Well wasn't too bad, although the Dead Hand was unsettling the first time I played it. I love the horseback archery. Heh.

The Horseback archery was cool - but only after I got the hang of it. My aim with the steady bow has gotten better though! I hated the bottom of the well... still do... creepy... *shudder*

As far as Temples go I would say that the Bottom of the Well is the easiest one. Pretty straight forward. Lower the water level, go through the passage, easily dodge the Skultula, kill the Dead Hand. Cake. That is, of course, if you don't want to get everything, like all of the gold skultulas.
