So, what kinds of music does everyone like? There are a few genres of music that I view with disdain but there are a few songs from those genres that I enjoy. My favourite is probably classical music.

I like all kinds of different music, including country (all time favorite country singer since I was little is Shania Twain, woot!), so I'm fine with whatever...Well, there's a few exceptions to that but still. ;D

I'm pretty diverse. I mainly like easy-listening, but I also like gospel (CCM and traditional). I'm not a big fan of rap or heavy metal, though I do like a little bit of pop depending on who's singing.

Ah, yes. Gospel music is nice to listen to and most of it has a message that anyone can understand and enjoy.

My favorite type of music would just have to be any kind of Christian music, especially Christian rock. My favorite band in that department is Relient K. I also like Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, some other country singers, and a few pop/rock singers. I don't like rap either... *shivers* The bad stuff is not in ALL rap songs...but there's some that I just wonder "how in the world can people listen to that junk?" That's just me though...

I like country, a little bit of rock, and J-Pop music.

I definitely can't abide rap and heavy metal. But I do like Christian music. ^.^ I like a lot of stuff with a piano played in it too...that might be why I'm a fan of Vanessa Carlton and Vienna Teng...though some of those two's songs are...strange.

Rap--aside from all the vulgarity and language--just sounds horrible to me. When I'm listening, I feel like there's hardly any melody... just a lot of bass. I like a variety of music, including (but not limited to) jazz, classical, alternative rock, pop, and classic rock, but rap's never made it on that list. Oh, and I'm a Beatles fangirl through and through.

Ha ha, yes, the Beatles are great. By far my absolute favourite CCM group would have to be Big Tent Revival. Yeah.

I've grown up with the oldies. My mom loves 'em. I listened to a lot of Broadway stuff, too, like Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.

I'm not an oldies fan, unless you count YMCA. That songs fun to dance to... I do know quite a few though, cuz our dad used to listen to 'em all the time.

I loved the 2005 Andrew Lloyd Webber Phantom of the Opera. I got the special two-disk soundtrack and DVD. I guess Roger Ebert thought the music was repetitive, but I'm no music critic. I really enjoyed it! (Gerard Butler was awesome too!)

There was one of the Phantom of the Opera songs that I really really really liked, but I can't remember what it was called...the movie was pretty cool too though. ^.^

How did the song go? We have, like, everything for the Phantom of the Opera. That was one of my consistent factors growing up.
