I recently picked up the soundtrack to Wicked from Kroger (which surprised me because when does Kroger ever sell CDs?) My mom actually saw the play, which she really liked, so I thought I'd listen to the CD and find out if I would like it... it is really good. I'm also going through a Bangles phase right now. I've been playing their Best Hits CD over and over again.
When I earn some money (see shopping post), maybe I'll buy that CD, Jupiter. Thanks!

Never heard of Kroger, but I do like some Evanescence songs. I'm with y'all when it comes to having 'My Immortal' as one of my favorite songs by them.

It's a grocery store chain, but it's only in certain parts of the U.S. Kind of like Q'berts in New York and those Island Grocery chains down south.
Anybody like movie soundtracks?

I like movie soundtracks so long as the music is good.

I have a lot of movie soundtracks. I only buy them if there's a couple of songs I like; I eventually start liking the others later.
It's been a long time since I've been in a Kroger's. My grandma goes there to shop, but it's been a few years since I've been there. The last time I was there I don't think they sold CD's, but I don't remember.
I've heard a couple tracks from Wicked, and it sounds really good. I think the next time I go to Wal-mart I might try picking it up. Does it just have the music or does it have the whole play on it?

Hmm... good question... I think it just has the songs on it, but I haven't lisetned to it all the way through. Just like on the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, you get the clips of the play that couldn't be removed b/c they led up to the song. I'd have to say my favorite track is Defying Gravity. That song is simply amazing.

I enjoy listening to Micheal W. Smith. He is a Christian singer/songwriter.

I haven't heard that much Christian rock music. I've got Sirius stations on my satellite dish and I know there's a Christian rock channel, but I've never bothered to listen to it. I'll listen carefully to any songs by Michael Smith from now on, though.

Never heard of Michael Smith...heh...heh..., but most of the music I listen to is on the Cds that I own. Blondie bought a few soundtrack CDs that I listen to. Uh... there's one for Fantastic 4, XMen III, Elektra, and I think that's it... They're pretty good for the most part.

Everything Burns on the Fantastic Four soundtrack is my fave as well as all the Meghan McCauley songs on that cd and the Elektra one. It seems I buy all the cds around here though...*looks pointedly at Marshmallow* I had to practically beg her to use her giftcard to get The Veronica's CD, lol.

There's a cool CD that I plan on ordering when I get the chance. It's called Ocean Boulevard (I think. I don't have the info in front of me at the moment) and it has a really cool instrumental of "Down By the Boardwalk" (again, I think that's the name, I just don't remember it exactly).
I'm really sad because I think I lost one of my favorite piano CD's. It was called Piano Therapy, and although I'll rebuy it in a heartbeat, I'm really bummed that I might've lost it.
