Heh, it's not too far off topic. I learned how to play 'My Heart Will Go On' on piano. Been forever so I couldn't play it now.

I got an electric keyboard a few years ago for Christmas that has a huge song bank in it. It also allows you to play along with it so you can learn the song, and "My Heart Will Go On" was one of those songs. It's a really awesome keyboard, but it's been awhile since I've hooked it up.

I love electric keyboards. When I was a little girl, I was always fascinated by them. With my little piano experience, I like playing on them occasionally, but it's rare I stumble into one and get a chance. Beatlemania last night was alright. The imitators were off-key most of the night, though. It wasn't until the very end that they kept in-tune. And they missed a couple of my faves (i.e. Eleanor Rigby, Paperback Writer, AND Ticket to Ride). Nothing beats the real Beatles, though.

I do like the Beatles. Flogging Molly is another pretty good band.

I definitely agree. I'm also a huge fan of Carlos Santana. My best friend got free tickets to his concert in Japan. Being the only American in a whole crowd of Asians, she stood out really well. Santana actually spoke to her from the stage in front of so many people. I was incredibly jealous when I heard this story, of course. Santana is amazing!

I'd have to agree. Santana is pretty amazing. I like Evanescence as well.

Evanescence rocks! I love their new song. What sucks though is that they're kinda falling apart. They've lost two of their members already.

That's a shame. I'm listening to them right now.

Evanescence is amazing, but I can only listen to them when I'm feeling depressed... otherwise, I'm happy and then I get depressed. Amy (I think that's the lead singer's name) is incredibly talented. I love the song "My Immortal." It's simply beautiful.

I love that song. It's so depressing, though. "Bring Me to Life" is probably my favorite.

Heh, those are probably my two favourite songs. The other being 'Hello.' I can play 'My Immortal' on the piano. ;D

I was talking to my mom about getting me back into piano lessons, but she said no -_-
I have a CD that's strictly just piano music of their songs. It's very cool.

Where did you get that CD? Does it have a specific title? I'd actually be interested in purchasing it. Evanescence songs are so well-done that they probably sound wonderful even with only a piano instrumental.

Eclipse: A Tribute to Evanescence
That's the title, and I actually got it at Wal-Mart, which is surprising since here they have a poor selection of CDs.
